Admission to the Buchanan Conference is free to all participants. Ten (10) grants will be provided.

Non-Texas A&M students chosen to receive grants will be provided:
  • Reimbursement up to $500 for travel expenses (copy of receipts required)
  • Rooms for the nights of Thursday, Nov 17, 2005 and Friday, Nov 18, 2005
  • Transportation for the duration of the conference
  • Lunch at the Hilton on Friday, Nov 18, 2005
  • Lunch at the Chicken Oil Company on Saturday, Nov 19, 2005
Texas A&M students chosen to receive grants will be provided:
  • $500 scholarship after admission and enrollment in the geotechnical engineering graduate program at Texas A&M University
  • Transportation for the duration of the conference
  • Lunch at the Hilton on Friday, Nov 18, 2005
  • Lunch at the Chicken Oil Company on Saturday, Nov 19, 2005

Students not awarded a grant are entirely responsible for their own accommodations and travel. No reimbursements of any kind will be provided to students who do not receive a grant.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Grant applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

DEADLINE FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS:  OCTOBER 22, 2005
 
Chosen applications for grants will be notified by OCTOBER 28, 2005
 
 
STUDENTS CHOSEN FOR TRAVEL GRANTS SHOULD FLY INTO EASTERWOOD AIRPORT, COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
